With this biography of Captain Scott, Ranulph Fiennes is attempting to right the wrong done to Scott's reputation. A wrong mostly done by the author Roland Huntford, at least in Fiennes view. The author charts Scott's life but primarily focuses on his two expeditions to the south pole, the second one ending in tragedy/5.
